South of Diu town is the small Jallandhar beach.

  Nagoa is the best, a beautiful, white sanded, crescent shaped beach, enclosing a cove of quiet blue water, perfect for a swim, wading in the shallows, relaxing by the sea, water sports and camel or pony riding.

  By far the longest and most attractive, is Nagoa Beach, 7 kms west of town. Naturally, sunbathing is tempting on these sun-kissed sands. Buses from Diu to Nagoa beach leave infrequently from the old bus stand at the end of the bridge. If you spend the day at Nagoa, or staying at Nagoa, keep an eye on the bus timing, otherwise missing the last bus leaves you with little choice but to walk.
